Well there are a lot of reasons. lets get started with listing them shall we!

When you are a normal registered user on TPC you don't have much ability's when posting
if you were to turn to VIP you could
- Delete your own posts
- delete your own threads
- Open / close your own threads


Your maximum stored messages sky rockets to
- 1000

Your profile pictures avatars and sig maximum size's goes up!
Profile picture: 200x200
Custom Avatar: 150x150
Signature: 1000x1000
Maximum number of image's in profile: 10

your maximum font size goes up to
- 24 instead of 11.


Now lets get to the interesting stuff.


You get direct download accounts per your request, if the server costs are covered for that month.

These are the rules of the free ddl accounts

Everyone is aloud 1 free request of the rapidshare or whichever ddl account you want. After that you need to give to the site in order to get another one for free. and when I say give to the site, I just mean make a certain amount of posts.

First ddl account - Free
Second ddl account - You need to have at least 60 posts
Third ddl account - You need to have at least 120 posts
Fourth ddl account - you need to have atleast 240 posts
Fifth ddl account - you need to have at least 480 posts

How exactly does the site verify who is a VIP member and what not? Noticed the donation methods are through paypal and was wondering after you donate do you receive a password or something to upgrade your account on here or receive a password for the VIP section.

VIP members have yellow usernames. Normal users like you and me are green.

I believe that after Slugger verifies the donation is valid, he will manually upgrade your account to VIP through the Admin CP.

Correct me if I'm wrong Slugger, but aren't normal users able to delete their own posts? I know I can.
